The Jewish life that existed until 1938 on the territory of what is now the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern was largely wiped out by the National Socialists. But in recent years not only the memory of it has been reawakened, also many a destroyed synagogue has been rebuilt, many a stumbling stone has been set. In a guided bus tour, these places are visited, memories are evoked and deepened through music in small concerts – in the festival year 1700 years of Jewish life in Germany also a preview of the International Days of Jewish Music organized by the Usedom Music Festival in November.
